Getting our community involved in fundraising is a really important part of the 600 Campaign. From online fundraising, sponsored challenges and our amazing student-led fundraising efforts, to extra special events either at school or in unique locations further afield – our fundraising efforts and creativity know no bounds!
Our students have shown such dedication, creativity and determination to do their bit to contribute towards 600 Campaign fundraising objectives! From taking part in sponsored challenges, hosting discos, movie nights, car washes, and even being silent, they have shown real LATIN skills in Leadership, Aspiration, Teamwork, Innovation and Nurturing by getting involved in fundraising projects which not only teach them important life skills, but boost their self-esteem and give them valuable stories to talk to future employers about.
We couldn’t be prouder (and grateful) of our RLS community of parents, alumni, local businesses and students and siblings for getting involved in numerous sponsored challenges which have raised both the profile, and success of, the 600 Campaign fundraising! From outdoor swimming in Hyde Park’s Serpentine, to taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, cycling and running a LOT of miles, and even running around the world (virtually when Covid kept us apart), we have achieved so much together as a community, and had fun along the way.
600 Campaign events have gained quite a reputation over the years as we bring together supporters from the campaign to have fun, celebrate what we are working towards, and fundraise! We’ve hosted events in some fabulous venues and attracted inspirational guests and speakers from the worlds of science and sport to create truly entertaining and memorable occasions!
We hope you will be able to join us at the next big event in our calendar…
