A very warm welcome to the Royal Latin Sixth Form. While almost all students who join us in Year 7 stay through to the end of Year 13, we are equally delighted to welcome many new students from other schools for their Sixth Form studies.
We are incredibly proud of our high-achieving Sixth Form community. In 2026, our A-level results placed us among other top-performing schools in the country, with 50% of grades awarded at A–A*, compared to 43.4% achieved at selective centres nationally.
Our Sixth Form Centre is designed to help students build the skills students need for independent study post-18. It features dedicated working environments, including a beautiful, newly-refurbished Lecture Theatre (completed August 2026) providing a modern, student-centred study space for collaborative learning. We also have Café 6, a dedicated venue for students to unwind and socialise during their break times.
Students take part in a wide variety of enrichment activities during their time here, ranging from the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, British Sign Language and Young Enterprise to recent Outlook Expeditions to Borneo. We hold high expectations for our students, encouraging them to demonstrate leadership, make a positive contribution to both our school and wider community, and fully embrace the many opportunities available to them.
Each year, we admit around 55–60 new students into Year 12. Places are in high demand and are often filled by students achieving 60+ points across their best eight GCSE subjects, which must include a minimum of Grade 6 in both Mathematics and one English GCSE (Literature or Language). Please see our admissions policy 2027 for more information.
