Support us - The Annual Fund

We aim to provide all students with a teaching and learning environment that is happy and encourages all students to reach their full potential in and outside the classroom. We want our students to have the best facilities and opportunities that will nurture and inspire. We live in a rapidly changing world and need to evolve, grow and innovate. Providing our students with the best extracurricular activities, support services and facilities is becoming increasingly challenging as costs escalate.

The Annual Fund will help us to fill the financial gap between core government funding and all the additional costs of running a good school. We set up an Annual Fund back in 2011 but it has taken a back seat since we embarked on the 600 Campaign – delivering the Discovery Centre in 2015 and the Sports Campus in 2021. Many parents have generously supported the Annual Fund throughout their child’s education, but with a tighter squeeze on our budget, we need more parents to join. This will enable us to provide our students with the facilities and opportunities they deserve. 

There is so much we want and need to improve. The wellbeing of our students is paramount, and as the school has grown the need to improve our outdoor facilities has increased – particularly during wet weather and hot summer days.  We need to keep evolving to be an inspiring place to learn; providing access to technology and extracurricular experiences that prepare young people for today’s world, creating opportunities that spark joy, curiosity and ambition. 

We have four main areas to focus on: 

• Wellbeing – promoting mental and physical health
• Campus – improving our outside space and energy-efficiency
• Technology – state-of-the-art technology in the classroom
• Enrichment – all the wonderful things our students can access beyond the curriculum
