Hi, I’m Seb and I’m incredibly excited about being this year’s Head Boy. I currently study French, Music, and Psychology with the goal of studying Music, possibly with French, at university.

Some particular highlights during my time at the school have been taking part in and helping to lead House Music, as well as playing in the band for school productions. These opportunities have taught me so many valuable skills and have been some of the most enjoyable experiences of my RLS journey. One of my priorities for the school this year is to help us to focus on the importance of the Arts, especially as we approach Phase 3 of the 600 Campaign.

Outside of school, my passion for Music continues, spending a lot of my time performing, composing, teaching, and directing. I also love to keep active by going on morning runs, which are a great way to prepare for the day ahead (although sometimes I prefer to stay in bed!).

I intend to make a noticeable positive impact on the school and surrounding community in both the short and long term, and I’m really looking forward to working with the new team and wider student body to do this. I’m feeling really optimistic about the year ahead and I cannot wait to get started!
Hello, I’m Ruby and I am absolutely delighted to be your new Head Girl. I am currently studying English Literature, Geography and Chemistry, and hope to study Politics and Social Sciences at university. I have a passion for advocating for the student voice, and ensuring that Royal Latin School is a friendly and open environment.

Over the years I have thoroughly enjoyed participating in school events. I take part in House Music and House Dance/Drama yearly, and the positive attitudes of students and their creativity amazes me every time.

Outside of school, I learn ballet, tap and modern and enjoy windsurfing during the summer. I also volunteer as an assistant instructor during this time, which involves helping younger students build their confidence in the sport. I write the occasional poem, enjoy reading around my subject and am currently aiming for the next grade up in the flute (however optimistic that is).

I am looking forward to implementing new ideas into not only the team but also the wider school. I am also excited to work with my new team, who I know will all be fantastic, and hope that if you have any questions, queries or ideas then you feel that we are approachable and attentive listeners!
Hello, I’m Jasper.  I’m studying Maths, Politics and Economics A-Levels and I feel honoured to be Deputy Head Boy this year.

I am very much looking forward to working with the new team and hope that we can make a positive impact on both the school and local community over the next year.

Since joining the Latin I have loved being able to participate in a wide variety of sports, having been part of the school’s football, triathlon and athletics teams in previous years. I have really enjoyed the challenges and appreciate the increased resilience that the highs and lows of competitive sport help us to build. Outside school, I enjoy playing football as well as coaching gymnastics and parkour.

I am keen to encourage all students to get involved, whether your passion lies in sport, the Arts, the environment, helping the community or something completely different.

By speaking up, listening well and working together we can all make a positive difference to one another’s lives and to our wider community.
My name is Millie. I study Biology, Media and Psychology and I aim to have a career full of success, happiness and Chanel handbags.

As Deputy Head Girl, I intend to take pride in showing that women belong in leadership. I am currently Managing Editor of The Latin Magazine and captain of my football team. These roles have taught me that the best leaders are empathetic, gracious, and empowering. I am passionate about inspiring younger girls to step into roles of authority without hesitation and lead decisions with self-belief. I am grateful to have had opportunities to support students and staff at school: Enrichment day, Peer Listening and Prom Committee being some of my favourites.

Beyond my school commitments, I spend most of my time in The White Company or planning my outfits; when it comes to helping others, I am always eager to contribute as much as I can. With the right support, encouragement, and the understanding that setbacks are important for growth, we can all reach our full potential. I am committed to helping every student believe in themselves and step out of their comfort zones to discover that they are capable of so much more than they imagine.

It’s a privilege to have futures ahead of us filled with endless possibilities – an opportunity that many around the world never experience. Therefore, as a role model I hope to encourage gratitude throughout the school, continuing to make school a positive and nurturing place for everyone.

More than anything, I aim to use my role to  make a memorable difference that will stay with the school long after my time here!

Hi! I’m Bel and I’m incredibly happy to be the Deputy Head Girl of The Royal Latin School. I am currently studying English Literature, Maths and Biology (an unpopular combination, I know) and I am hoping to study English at university.

During my time at the Latin, I have particularly enjoyed participating in the many amazing sporting opportunities, from the netball, hockey and handball teams to my favourite school event, House Sports. The amount of students who get involved is unbelievable and it’s an event which showcases the many talents of our students, especially when run alongside House Drama and Music.

My love for sport continues outside of school, as I play netball and go to the gym, which I find extremely rewarding and they help me to keep a balance with my studies and social life.

Having been at this school since Year 7, I have been inspired countless times by other students as our school allows people not only to excel academically, in Sport, in Music and in Drama, but also encourages them to grow into outstanding individuals. I am so passionate about continuing this and I am looking forward to celebrating the successes of all students.

Myself, along with the rest of the team, have many ideas to leave a positive impact on the school and all of the students, and I can’t wait to see all the things that happen this year!
