Our Sports Campus is designed to deliver innovative and inspirational new facilities that encourage ALL our students to get involved in sport and to improve their health and wellness. We have always said that whilst we’re fundraising we should maintain that aim and get as many of students raising money in active ways too! Whether it’s been swimming, running, walking, climbing, playing team sports, karting, golfing, dancing, or netballing, we can safely say we’ve been doing that!
These pages show some of the current fundraising projects that our students have completed or are still hard at work with. Please do support them if you are able. Thank you.
Race to 600
The Race to 600 is our overarching student fundraising drive to raise funds for the Sports Campus, to get active, work as a team and be part of the success story!
The challenge – devised by our Sports Campus Student Board – is for every form to raise £600 over the academic year. Students can do sponsored activities or organise fundraising events – whatever their passion and skills. Prizes on offer for “finishing the race” is a Form Pizza Party, House Points, and a Sporting Hero plaque dedicated to their form on the wall of the Sports Campus, forever.
Our 6th formers are organising a raffle for the Sports Campus. They’re currently looking prize donations. If you can help, please email RLS600@royallatin.org
600 Minute Challenge
Our students, families and local community are getting active and taking on the challenge to record 600 minutes of activity during February! If you’d like to sponsor them, they’d be grateful!
Spreading the Christmas Sparkle
Over Christmas our school community took on the challenge to run/walk/cycle/swim to each corner of the globe to spread some virtual sparkle to loves ones we are missing.
Virtual London Marathon
Our students took on the Challenge to work together to run the virtual London Marathon and raise sponsorship for the Sports Campus.
